My fancy author bio…

When Mike was a toddler, he made up the word PookyHonk. It was complete gibberish, but it sparked a love for words. After years of writing ad campaigns for national brands, Mike decided to write for the world’s toughest audience: children.

When not writing, Mike enjoys trail running, overachieving snowstorms, drinking maple syrup, fries smothered in ketchup, the smell of hardware stores, and making his family laugh. Originally from Maryland, Mike lives in a Revolutionary War tavern in New Jersey with his wife, two kids, two dogs, eight chickens, and several thirsty ghosts.
